Right lads, posting this in here as this is the relevant area.

Is it possible to tune TV3 into Sky as you can get RTE 1 & 2 along with TG4, is it possible? and how do you do it?

Cheers for any help

don't know about that particular channel, but here's how to add any missing ones:

SERVICES button

4 - SYSTEM SETUP

4 - ADD CHANNELS

either key in the frequency if you know it or you can choose FIND CHANNELS

you can also fiddle about with the engineers menu (called INSTALLER SETUP) as well...

SERVICES... SYSTEM SETUP.... press 0 1 then ENTER

but don't bugger about with these unless you're sure of what they do!

In work at the mo so dont have the frequencies to hand, will get them tonight, but by going into services and then find other channels you can get utv bbc 3 4 5 and a load of regional bbc channels eg, bbc london bbc midlands bbc scotland bbc south east etc etc. You can also get all the kids channels.

try this

Killian if your here,

This thread is a great way of showing the chairman of the BMWCCGB that restricting it to members only won't work. Its got nothing at all to do with BMW's but as friends and fellow forum members we can ask advice on such mad things as television channels.

(I have no problem at all with this thread by the way)

It would be a very boring forum if all we could do is post about BMW.

We could post about how difficult it is to sell them secondhand at the moment if they'd like. That would be great for Joe Duffy's used car business!

another tip i forgot to mention last night that if your box freezes (the panasonic ones, both old and new seem especially prone to this), unplug it from the mains, plug it back in but while you're plugging it back in hold down the "BACK UP" button on the front of the case until all the lights light up and a message appears on the screen ("updating system software") - this will force a software update, although sky sends down the updates periodically it never hurts to force this manually once in a while

it will switch itself back off when its finished, switch back on and use as normal

compare the version numbers to what was there before on the SYSTEM DETAILS screen (SERVICES....4 SYSTEM SETUP....5 SYSTEM DETAILS)
