hi dudes,just received my new club membership.I've been informed that this is my regional area even though I live on the Isle of Wight. Do you have meetings in the Hampshire/Portsmouth/Southampton areas, as it's like being on Alcatraz down here?!! Just to introduce myself, my name's Paul and me and my fiancee Helen are keen BM enthusiasts. Our car which we call Betty is a gleaming black G reg. 325i SE,black leather sports seats, full electrics pack, Mtech 2 steering wheel, Mtech gear gator and knob, Mtech kick panels, full Kenwood six disc changer system, Mtech2 rear spoiler, M3 electric wing mirrors with indicators, clear front and side indicators with silvatec bulbs, riding on 16 inch 6 spoke OZ wheels, with the ride height having been dropped 40ml all round (we can't go any lower because the roads over here are s**t!!).I have always wanted to be a member of the BMW car club and now I've got the exclusive sticker to prove it! NICE!!! Anybody wishing to contact us, feel free to do so. Can anybody tell me how to upload a picture onto the forum site because we have a few photos of Betty we think you would like?!! ------------- robo |

Welcome aboard Paul & Helen.
The wessex region does cover a large area! i'm in Wimborne, Dorset. The wessex region meet up once a month for a evening pub meet. They also organise other events, in deed thier is a BBQ around Pat and Terry Chandlers today. The Wessex region regularly attend other car shows and rally's. Have a look in the Car Club magazine, Jacqui and others often write up the 'Wessex regional news' Also worth checking out is the http://www.bmwcarclubgb.co.uk/regions/wessx/wessex.html - Wessex Region Web . If your ever over this side of the water on the last sunday of the month, the Bournemouth Performance BMW Club meet at the Fox and Hounds Pub, Wimborne http://www.car-club.com/bpbmw/ - Bournemouth meet I don't think you can upload pictures onto this forum site, I could be wrong...
