Just received a new rad from GSF and the fins in between the cooling pipes are damaged but only in a very small section of say 3-4cm square. I could just bend them back gently with flat screw driver as dont think its damaged the cooling pipes-what do you think? The cooling fins are made of very thin metal and will bend very easily. As long as the coolant jacket/pipe work has not been punctured then there should be no problem. The metal is very thin for the cooling fins in order that more fins can be installed in a given space, more fins means more cooling surface, means more efficient radiator.
