Just received a new rad from GSF and the fins in between the cooling pipes are damaged but only in a very small section of say 3-4cm square. I could just bend them back gently with flat screw driver as dont think its damaged the cooling pipes-what do you think? Think I should go to the hassle of sending it back or im just paranoid and its nothing to worry about????? Cheers Laughing

The cooling fins are made of very thin metal and will bend very easily.  As long as the coolant jacket/pipe work has not been punctured then there should be no problem.  The metal is very thin for the cooling fins in order that more fins can be installed in a given space, more fins means more cooling surface, means more efficient radiator.

Install it and if it leaks take it back.
