Bit of advice/help needed (already!!)
I've noticed that the gear change on my M3 'loon' is a bit notchy, any idea's what it is?? the clutch seems fine and doesn't slip (when fun peddle is given the stamp!) although clutch close to the floor when biting point arrives when pulling off..... I just want to know so I can put it back to the garage and/or abuse my warranty!!!
Any help/advice appreciated.
Matty.

Worth a wee search as this has come up a number of times.
- one point of view is that they're all a bit notchy
or
- look at an uprated clutch cable as the OEM part can baloon a little
- when was the last time the transmission fluid was changed
- consider a short-shift and associated gear-change-smoothing bits

hello mate got mine a couple of weeks ago and found the very same thing my clutch was replaced a few months back so i put it down to this and the gear change is really not very smooth, especially when trying to change gear quickly guess that must be normal then?
