1) 02.00 hours. SAS operative infiltrates building by seducing an attractive female terrorist, as is standard practice according to the Lewis Collins film 'Who Dares Wins'. 2) 05.00 hours. Royal Canadian Mounted Police deployed with the aim of rendering terrorists paralyzed with shock at the sight of lantern-jawed men in bright red uniforms and big hats coming through the door on horseback brandishing revolvers and shouting 'The Mounties always get their man!' 3) 09.00 hours. Ministry of Defence press office issues exaggerated account of the rescue, implying that a thrilling firefight has taken place between terrorists and soldiers of the world's most highly-trained regiment, only to have to sheepishly admit shortly afterwards that the terrorists weren't at home when the SAS popped round. 4) 12.00 hours. Andy McNab gets order to 'GO GO GO!' and is airlifted to ITV lunchtime news studios by helicopter to begin hours of pointless speculation about what might have happened. 5) 17.00 hours. SAS officers begin negotiations for book rights with publishing companies. The rescue, in which no shots were fired, is turned into the best-selling blood-and-guts SAS real- life thriller yet.  -------------
