Hi Folks,

KBannon just informed me from the UK site that this one existed. I have been looking and psoting on the UK site for a few months as I have moved over to BMW ownership.

Anyway can anyone recomend a tranny shop in Dublin to service my Auto.

Many thanks

Out of curiosity, whats wrong with your gearbox?
There is Mr. Gearbox/Mr clutch but they are supposerd to be costly and I don't know how good they are.
Search http://www.goldenpages.ie - www.goldenpages.ie for gearbox and a few come up.

Killian,

Not much wrong with the box, But I just think it could be smoother. Some people say get it serviced (Hydolic oil and filters) just in case.

Thanks

Me! I told him to get his autobox serviced!

If you fancy a trip over the water to Glasgow, I can point you in the direction of a good tranny shop!

Hi Mick

I'd recommend Fergus Conway of Conway Transmissions in Walkinstown. He's been there for years and has a great reputation in the trade, particularly BMW, Merc, Jag Auto boxes.

Good luck.

Mick - ring Al in accarsales.com, or pm him on here AC AL is his handle, he'll sort you out. Alan has a gearbox specialist who'll do it, no problem. I'm getting mine done soon for the same reason as you.

As MattE will testify from his own experiences, it could cost up to £4,000 for a new autobox!

Best of luck with it.

Hmm very nice!

I saw this listed under the most recent posts and there was me thinking there was some more automatic transmission questions to be answered before I start my work.

Nice way to start the day.

Pictures removed....again.

Please read the pm topazman.

Can we all stop this in general please, although I think the pictures are funny/downright nice, some people have jobs where they don't want that sort of thing downloaded to their computers.

I imagine that could also go for any of you that view the forum from a works pc too.

Just been thinking Nigel any chance of being able to put a warning sign on a post or thread warning people that it is not work safe etc so they will be warned beforehand and not be offended and open it in work etc

Absolutely not...in my opinion.

Just because this is the BMWCC site, its supposed to be family friendly, not offend women , children etc

Would you expect to see your collection in the magazine ?

Don't get me wrong, I like the pictures, I'd like their phone numbers even more....but, it just doesn't seem right on here.
