Can anyone help? I have on my 1967 Alpina 1600 a 5-speed Getrag close-ratio gearbox with Porsche synchro's. The synchro's on gears 1 and 2 are worn and I need new rings and hubs. Appear impossible to find. Anybody got one of these 'boxes and knows where to get parts?

New syncro rings are available from BMW - p/no
23231200777.
Complete gearbox (Getrag 235) is still listed, but is
about £1800!

Thanks Drew, have received the parts, now see if it all fits back together again. Mine is actually longer still than the normal 5-speed 'box. It is extended again with the funny synchro's. Must have had quite a hard time in the Seventies rallying. Have proper seats fitted, harness, fire extinguisher and cage, so should be back in action this year.

P.S. Did anybody buy your 5-speed sport gearbox for the E9 in one of the other topics?
