Any thoughts on a problem I am having? I fitted some very effective and very low cost angel eyes some months ago, as my was  car is pre-facelift lights I had to leave the side lights connected but left dangling under the bonnet area so the bulb warning light did not trigger.

Now despite the angel eyes looking very good and happy with the £20 price they have failed a few times and now on my 4th set!  not so cheap now.

However for the first time yesterday I noticed when the engine is running with the lights OFF every 20 seconds or so the angel eyes flash on off, now I guess that is what has been blowing them.

Other than fitting an isolation relay is there a reason why this is  happening? is the bulb checking circuit the culprit?

Any help appreciated

Jeff TT
