it was a local car and was used by a guy i know who runs a tyre place. for months i kept mentioning to him to swap it with mine. It eventually came up for sale. i have spent a few quid on it for the mot etc but should run on for a while. The wheels are BMW style 5. i plan to run it on filtered chip fat when i can fine a source. the C&E need to be notified, but if it's free then it's about 20p a litre in tax plus meths to thin it, so it does not clog up with the cold weather. ------------- Toby http://www.bmminiparts.com - New Genuine BMW & Mini OEM parts - www.bmminiparts.com 1987 E30 M3 with turbo being added |

Think you can handle the power Toby?? Looks in not bad nick too Heard a woman on the wireless the other day talkin about running on cooking oil. Apparently you get a form from the tax man that you fill in saying how many miles you have done and type of car, they work out mpg and send you a bill. They believe you're going to be honest when stating milage covered Alan.

A mate used to run his little van on chippy oil, you could smell it as well - apparently if you use oil from an indian, it smells like a curry

The power is just about manageable. It's body work is sound and have undersealed it. i have replaced a few wear and tear things but these all need down at sometime. New brakes, suspension, glow plugs and these are the main things.
