Does anyone know how?

I seem to have a fuel leak at one of the above but can't see how they are removed. I would appreciate informed advice, so as not to cause damage!

Thanks.

RD,

The injectors are held in by rubber seals at either end. All that you need to do is lever them out of their respective holes. These O ring seals normally need replaced every time they are removed though as removing can be desructive, use a little engine oil when refitting with new ones. The manual give a good explaination.

Thanks, Mad, you are correct!

I took the manifold assembly into my local BM dealer, clad in overalls and reeking of petrol (felt a bit out of place!).

A nice kind technician told me the same, but he also said it's extremely rare for these seals to leak, unless they have been disturbed. Almost certainly, he went on, the leak is from the short length of fuel hose above, although there was no obvious sign. I replaced this and hey presto! problem solved. It was only noticeable when cold, as once the engine warms up, the hose expands and seals the small leak.
