A bit late in the day, but if anyone is not doing anything on Sunday 25th September, then we are at Marsden Tunnel end on a canal trip.
Meet at the Station in the National Trust Car Park off the A62 Huddersfield - Manchester Road at 11.00am. Boat sails at 11.45, but there are others at 45 minute intervals. See inside the tunnel recently restored. Won't be able to make it, but for anyone nr York there is a classic car show on the Knavesmire. Doubt I'll be going to that either but I thought I'd mention it (saw a lovely rodded mustang on the back of a trailer round the bypass earlier)
