Just wondered if the M badge on the dashboard of my e36 evo is
supposed to light up- the one where the asc+t light wuld be on a non m3
e36

Also, how do you get the gearstick off?

Dunno about the light, but if it's the knob you're talking about... give it a good tug (ooh err missus)

The ///M logo doesn't light up on the dash. Someone has posted here before about attempting to do it, but never updated the post as to wheter they bothered or not. It would look good though.

As for the knob, just tug upwards but make sure not to knock yourself out

oooh, an "///M" shift light

so do the smg's have an oil temp gauge then, because isn't that where all
their smg gubbins goes?
