I had a red face at Gaydon for more than one reason.......

Firstly I hadn't got any suntan lotion on......

Secondly, when I was about to leave Gaydon, I had a flat battery.

My passenger had the radio on for several hours and I had left the door ajar having my lunch..... end result: 4 litres of E34 that wasn't going anywhere.

Those great guys from North of the border found me a pair of jump leads and a really helpful couple with a silver E34 (with a good battery !!). One jumpstart later and all was well again.

Really appreciated guys, it could have been a big embarrassment calling the RAC out. I hope your good deeds are returned to you.

All the best.

No need to worry mate, I did exactly the same and had to get Stevie's E60 535d to start me. Wasn't giving a hoot though, created a laugh anyway. Most folk we'd had around the stand all day tbh
