I was watching Ronin last night - great flick - with a great chase scene through the tunnels of Paris. Anyway what kind of 5 series was that being used ------------- Current: 2009 E60 520d "Sport" tractor Previous: 1989 E30 320i SE 1997 E39 523i 2003 E39 525i Sport Individual |

Just registered on the forum and pleased that I can share some useless knowledge. The Ronin E34 is at least 2 different cars. The main car is an M5 3.6 while the crash scenes are a "normal" E34. I drove the wife mad rewinding sections of the chase to point out the disappearing sport seats (some shots sport seats, others normal seats). I think the M5 wheels turn into cross spokes at some stage too. Important stuff I think you will agree ------------- Mark G E34 525i Sport |

Mark is right I have the Special Edition DVD version which shows the making of the film and shows the chase scene and how they achieved it in great detail
