Does anyone know where I can get hold of some Avus blue touch up paint? (code - 603) Halfruads and my local auto shops don't stock it and I can't find anywhere on the net either. It wasn't a one off colour on the M3 so I can't understand why it's so difficult to find. Does anyone have any that they'd like to sell? ------------- Avus E36 M3.0 |

Halfrauds can mix paint at many of their stores now. They even mixed an aerosol of British racing Green [an Individual colour] for me. They should have no trouble doing Avus Blue [ http://www.bmwccbc.org/resources/teile/farben.html - paint code 276 ].

You must have been lucky.... I got them to match a burgundy colour for my dad's Rover and it ended up pink rather than claret!!! It'll be in the dealer's tomorrow morning... lots of work to do before the festival! ------------- Avus E36 M3.0 |

It wont coz the touch up paint is to original spec and the paint on your car will have differed over the years due to several variants. Its how you blend in the touch up that makes the difference. ------------- Love driving my E36 EVO  Tickety Boo

| A fine bristle artists brush. Better to buy an aerosol from the dealer and spray a small amount into the can dustcap then dip the brush into that. Try to brace your applying hand to ensure no 'wobbles'. |
