Went to work (Darlington)at my normal time, 1030pm, and when I got somewhere near there was told polity by a Policeman "No access down this road" "Why?" "Bomb threat at Royal Mail" Ooooerrr. So I parked up and stood about for an hour then went home. Whats it coming too? So, anybody in the DL postcode area won't be gettin much mail this morning. But on the good side, I had a night off

10:30PM! What do you do? WRT the bomb threat, I imagine there will be a lot more of these in the next few weeks/months. Not good but as you said a night off is not a bad thing ------------- Entering an age of Austerity and now driving a Focus Diesel. |

I think the hoaxers should have the book thrown at them, (preferably something the size and weight of War and Peace). The emergency services and bomb squads have to turn out to any alert, they could be deployed at a hoax when needed urgently elsewhere (good though they are they can only be in one place at a time) or get to a real one tired from attending fakes and make an error.
