According to Practical Classics magazine

£2200 for condition 1

£1100 for condition 2

£450 for condition 3

this model gets 5/5 stars for spare part availability

condition 1:  cars are in excellent condition in all respects.  they're not concourse, but are superbly maintained and free from major faults.

condition 2:  cars are capable of regular use.  THey have a current MOT certificate but will need work and/or original parts to make them Condition 1

condition 3:  cars usually need a complete rebuild, but they might still be driveable

But they are not real world prices for the old 7 I'm afraid!
Post a note up on the 7 section, and also have a trawl through the posts about low mileage 7's. (ignore the rants of some that just like to diss the old e23)
They rarely go above a grand, even good ones (there was a 40 mile only e23 that struggled to get £2200!)
I think at 83, it'll be a 3 speed auto though.
Any idea on the spec of the car?
