Anyone travelling down from up North might want to form a convoy, Alan (simmo1875@hotmail.co.uk) has aksed if anyone would like to meet up for a cruise down to the event.

Here's all the latest on the Event (All sections & models represented);
Gates Open at 10:00, we have managed to negociate a the price down to £6 per adult.
We have so far 7 Trade Stands confirmed, & Total BMW Magazine Stand & Coopers main dealer BMW present. For what promises to be a huge event.

We have joined forces with the 6-Series Coupe Register as they event was booked on the same day. I also believe we are expecting at least 30 E30's, the E21 Register, Isetta Register, Historic Section, E12's, E3's, Z Register, & M-Power sections have all been invited & usually turn up in large numbers.

The main theme is 02 Auto-jumble so we hope to have a lot of owners selling parts out of their boots, you also might find something you need. Plus cars for sale. We have action in the afternoon by running Classics & Historic BMW's up the famous Brooklands Hill.

Also at Brooklands there is;
Not only is the Museum now larger with all the out buildings, there is an Engine & Baloon Hanger with Working Engines in.
BP Petrol Pagoda - Great Photo Oppotunity - but as cars will be moving we need to control this. Not allowed to publish pictures in front of Petrol Pagoda as copyright laws (we will be banned if they are published in public
but ok for Private use).
Campbell & Jackson Shed.
ERA Shed.
Racing Lock-ups.
Dunlop & Jackson Bungalows.
Sunbeam Tea Room & full Resturant facilities will be open most of the day.
Vistors Shop.
Education Discovery Centre (Ideal for Kids)
Play Area for Children.
Planes including BAC1-11, Vanguard Viscount, Harrier Jump Jet (Pictures of you can be taken in the Cockpit), & VC10 donated by the Sultan of Oman (Gold Plated interior) to name a few that will be open on the day.
Commercial Vehicles.
Concorde being refurbished.

See you all there.
Richard.

Hi all,

Is the £6 paid on the door, or do we need to get tickets?

Do I have to let anyone know I'm coming (for numbers purposes) or just turn up?

Cheers,

Danny

I'm coming down from Leics. so if anyone wants a convoy i'm up for that, but i am metting a load of people from the E30zone who have cars on display at a Tesco near Brooklands beforehand, and then we're all going down in one big group.

If last year was anything to go by, you pay at the gate when you arrive.

Thinking of going down on the Saturday; anybody have any suggestions on where to stay? Travel Inn is £60,   and the nearest is booked up.

Anybody else too lazy to get up at 5am?

That was my excuse! don't you just love black cars when the sun comes out...

Top day, lovely site, even got to see some of the museum too! (Escape from the sun for a while!)

You might need to use the car park at the new Tesco's, Gerrards Cross.

Then again, maybe not a good idea....

Was a very good day out. Still things we can do better for next year, but 43 sixes was a new UK record beating last years 37.

Thanks for all that came down.
