Greetings everyone

I am the proud new owner of a 1991 535i sport in met grey. This is my third bmw, the first two being a 1983 528i and a 1980 316.

The only problem with my new toy is the brake wear indicator keeps staying lit, even though the previous owner has just had brand new discs & pads fitted all round. Otherwise all is as it should be

I am always on my pc so you will find me on here quite alot.

Cheers for the welcome guys

BMWE34sport - My car looks identical to your siggy m8

The reason i haven't posted pics yet is because the car is parked on a mates drive as i live in a flat and i already have 3 cars here so no room until i sell 2 of them. Anyone know someone who want a '91 saab 9000 and an '84 xr4i??? 1K for the pair

I'm still using the sab at the moment, spent all my dosh on buying the 535i and left myself pennyless to tax it til pay day at the end of the month

I notice you go to the enfield pageant every year? That should be fun, especially when the ford sierra owners club attend it too, and the fact their club chairman stitched me up on a 4x4 ghia estate i sold him owning a bm instead of an old ford is better me thinks

Welcome Speedy, out of all the car clubs I have belonged to this is by far the friendliest and most helpful, enjoy!

My fave BMW's are 80's models, E28/E23, so far still on one, my first (525e) proved rotten so got a 520i now but we're all different and no-one choice right or wrong. Nice pic!

A 520 would probably feel too slow for me. I've been spoilt by driving performance cars for a while now (the mrs has a mk2 V6 mondeo).

I enjoy a friendly forum, i have my own for chatting about anything, but i won't be joining a certain sierra owners club again.

I enjoy going to pub meets and classic car shows, and seeing as my car only has a couple of touched up scratches, it would be nice to join in, just the question of getting my membership sorted (out with the credit card)
