As topic heading, I have got to change the light module on my E46 328 ci but cannot find any info on where it is located.

I have been told it might be in the passenger footwell or under the rear seat, but this has not been confirmed and I don't want to start ripping the car about to find I'm wrong.

 Any info. on its whereabouts and indeed how easy it is to change would be much appreciated.

Mark,

I am sure that I saw somewhere that the E46 light module is built into the headlight switch assembly in the dash. Can't be sure of this, but it is worth a try.
