I have just got a 1996 318is coupe.

Drives lovley with it's 17" BMW alloys but the ABS light now stays on !

Is this serious ?

Also the Sony CD player does not switch on, do I have to input some code ???

Any ideas ? Cheers !

Congrats on the new car, what style 17's has it got on? Any pics?

With regards to the ABS light it may well be a glitch with a sensor, pop it into a dealer or specialist garage and they should be able to pinpoint it quickly tho I would have it looked at sooner rather than l8r as you never know...

I've got a Sony headunit in my car and if it needs a code it usually asks for it. I'd pull the headunit out and check the connections as you may just have a loose wire.
