Who do I speak with to get space allocated for the Scottish region? I would like space for 30 cars and if possible the same location as last year.

Cheers,

 Agree with you ----Both !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting when you get a DUAL Subject Posting-Gaydon IS a National-GAYDON IS a Central Region Location and Helpers Required From its MemBers is a Problem?????????? Not All Events fit into a easy listed section??????.MORE promotion is needed, for Central members to get involved. If it is decided to CLOSE a subject-- Then Kindly show a encouraging Link to Events forum--" THANKS for the interest-- checkout the Events Forum"  Know what I mean

Unfortunatley, in a way yes. The M3 got written off in late Nov 04! It was involved in a bad accident with my wife driving, so I am without an M3 at the moment. Hopefully this situation will remedy itself in the spring though!

Has the date of the 21st Aug been agreed in principle for this years Gaydon Bash (or is it still open for confirmation)? I thought there was to be the big one at Rockingham, has this idea been shelved?

Gaydon IS date as advised. Rockingham info update ASAP.

Sorry to read about the M--trust both are Ok.

Thanks for asking & yep, all OK (apart from the car!)
Will the Rockingham meet be a mainly M power item? Or another large bash to compliment the Gaydon event?

it is a shame, I'll have to think of a new one now! But, I can attest to the strength of the car, as when I saw the remains IN THE TREE, and how much damage there was, and how it finally came to rest, I was glad to see my wife standing there un-scathed apart from a scratched knuckle. When the recovery truck arrived to collect the car, all 4 doors and the boot opened. Wouldn't shut again, but the cabin was complete and undamaged.

There are many reasons why Rockingham was dropped. What do you do there if it rains? They don't have a suitably big area to work in. The E30 Bash was a great event, but that is about as big as it can happily cope with. Gaydon can take twice as many, and that may be too small for this year. We have looked for altenative venues for the last few years but none on balance are better than Gaydon. In adition the Gaydon people are very helpful.

That's how I see it, having been one of the greatest grumblers about Gaydon for years.

Working the gate last year @ Gaydon we were told that only BMWCC members could park in the main display area, non members had to use the public car park. Of course the 'odd' non member with a good car was let down to park in the arena... but then we did run out of parking down there before 12:00 i seem to remember...

Mark, I was on the gate for a while too! (balding -well VERY short hair!! with an unhealthy interest in the 7's that turned up!) It was interesting to see the number of CC cars to public cars arriving, and all times during the morning.
I'm up for helping out so will arrive as early as I can (pre 8.00 if need be)

Contact Jerry or Andrew at the club office as IIRC you'll need an entry number for show n shine.

For stands I think its down to whats being shown but again check at the club office to be pointed in the right direction.

If you mean section rather than stands then you should be pointed in the right direction at point of entry.

AFAIK there is no Central region 'stand' though welcome to be put right on this. I think theres a Central region which if you tell the parking marshall is where you should be directed to.
