hi mate, get yourself on e bay type in "bmw tool kit or tools" and you might find them. i recently saw all the tools only they were from different sellers. persistent bidding should get all of the tools but the price with p+p may exceed the dealer.

i have just bought an un-opened first aid kit for £11.49 inc p+p.£25 at dealers but the same kit sold the day before £30.00 inc p+p off ebay. check the dealer first for your tools and be carefull of scrappies some of them want almost the same as dealers.

GOOD LUCK 318ih

I agree, check the dealer first. I've seen tools go for ridiculous prices on ebay when they just cost a couple of quid at the dealer. Most of the tools are pretty ordinary stuff.

I'm always very suspicious of people selling tool kits on ebay, especially when they're selling it with the tool tray as well. I wonder how many of them are stolen.

Does anyone know if the tools are the same in each model? Like Haysey I could do with some missing bits (only 50% of the original tools there)...

Cheers

Pete,

I've some odds and ends missing from the 535 and the missus's 318is is the same. Do you want a list of the missing tools or are you going to bring what you've got?

Cheers

Pete,

The missus's car has only got that chrome rod with the grey plastic tube on (what ever it is?), so she says she'll take all the other tools if the're still availalble. How much do yo uwant for them.

Cheers, Mick

Mick, I think the chrome rod is the tommy bar for the plug box spanner.

You know I said the chrome bar was the tommy bar for the plug socket? Well it is, but it's also a pin used to locate your wheel when changing. You put the thicker end in a bolt hole in the hub, hang the wheel on, slip a bolt or two in the wheel and pull the pin out.

Amazing what you learn in the details of an ebay ad!
