Every now and then when I check the car last thing at night I notice that the windows could have dropped, guessing its the key in my pocket or herselfs key in the handbag which has all that auto window stuff.

Anyone know how to disable the window functions on the keys, looked in the manual but can't find any specific info on turning it off or is it a dealer job cos I dont want to get up some morning to find the car a bath tub

I've seen this once on a car I was test driving.  I locked up the car and a few mins later the windows & sunroof opened.  Needless to say I walked away thinking the worse, but the guy told me later he got it fixed and it was a misaligned microswitch for the courtesy window closure in the drivers door that was triggering the windows to open.
