65,000 miles.  Engine fine.  Body aging.  Manual roof.  Starting to leak at the 2 front clips/handles where the roof opens.  Any ideas

Hi Mary

Are you advertising the car or are you just looking for ideas on how to solve the leak? Sounds like your rubber seals need replacing. I had to do mine a few weeks ago. you can get the rubber seals from bmw for £87.50. Its in 1 piece and it goes along the front of the hood and bends round along the top of the front windows. dead simple to fit as well. the front part tucks under a metal strip and the side bits slide in a groove, you have to grease the grooves quite a bit though or the rubber wont slide all the way along. hey presto, no more leaks!!

By the way M3AG, the year of the car is stated in the title of this topic
