Hi,

I have a 1996 E36 323 coupe with an after market Clifford G4 alarm/immoboliser system. Could anyone tell me if the dead locks are operated automatically by locking the car in the convensional way i.e with the fob.

The owner's hand book says 'The thiefproofing device is simultaneously activated when the doors are locked.....preventing the doors from being unlocked from the inside'. However, the separate BMW security hand book recommends that 'the boot should locked separately to isolate it from the central locking system.

Can anyone help... I am alittle confused!!

Cheers.
