Hi all!

I replaced the fan-belt on my '73 '02 tii last week. Having gotten rid of the screeching I seem to have inherited and rattle coming from the direction of the alternator. As I tighten the nut that keeps the fan-belt on the alternator it reaches a point where it becomes loose again. I assume that this is the problem!

Any advice?

PS Anyone know of a good classic BMW garage in West London?
