Hi I am new to the bmw scene, this is my first post. Before i left for uni I bought a 628csi in need of restoration. i have now finished uni so its time to start and hopefully next summer i will be joining you on the meets. The font wings are in need of some welding but are repairable. i am having a job to get tem off. Any help would be appreciated. ive released all the bolts along the top and the couple behind the front of the door. where are the others? cheers richard

You will also need to somehow remove the welded joint at the front "tip" where the wings join to the nose cone panel....

There are a lot of bolts so make sure they are all done. Also a heat gut running along the top of the wing will aid to loosen the glu/bitumen that is stuck all over them. James |
