Floody (Mark) will be meeting Gill & myself around 6:30pm/7pm at The Chequers Inn, the very same place that Nick will drag us to for lunch.

The thinking is that it should be easy for everybody to find, and we can pre-order our lunch for the big day itself.

Hope others can make it for a friendly natter.

Nick, well done on getting to the break even point.

No, we are staying 10 mins away in Darlington as I didn't realise that they did B&B.

Thank's, it's a big relief.. it can be v stressing comitting the Club to a six grand outlay with no guarantee of any income to cover it.
I worry that one day it won't break even and that would be the end of our little event.

Soapbox time.. you see, not that long ago if my event made a surplus then it was carried forward to next year.. I had built up a surplus of approaching £2k, which was comforting. I knew that if one year I made a shortfall that there would be enough in the Croft piggy bank to make it up and still some.
Now, any surplus is absorbed by the club and I start with a blank sheet every time which hacks me off just a little..
Right, soapbox away before I really pop my cork.

Anyway.. see you Monday, bright and early please.. I have jobs for you!

Well, yesterday it was forecast to be cloudy. That has changed today to a forecast for showers.

Still this could all change as it is only a forecast.

If it is like last year, dry but with a short shower, it will be ok with me.

Dry and cloudy at the minute... :)

I'll be wandering about the paddock on Monday with the most poorly looking and sounding 318iS you've ever seen. :D
