economy run

big thank you to Ron Edge for organising the north west economy run yesterday. i had a lovely day out (away from the kids) and  met up with other club members at chatsworth house. i counted about 30 bmw's ranging from e30 318is, e28 alpina's, a couple of e46 coupes, jeffs spunky zm coupe ( can i say spunky??) and a lovely boston green e36 328 schnitzer coupe..........oh, that was my car!! after seeing jeff and cath sipping champagne in the glorious sun shine, it has inspired me to be more organised for the next time we have a club gathering. when i eventually left for home (bearing in mind that the missus wanted me home for 14.00 hrs) the time was 14.15hrs,and did'nt arrive home til 16.50hrs! i've no idea where ive been to get home, but i took jeffs advice and took the A6 home and never saw a motorway until rochdale. to say that i'm in the dog house at the moment would be a minor understatement!!
