Just can't resist eh?? At the end of the day, people normally provide conflicting info as to whether chipping is worth it. No definitive conclusion. On balance, chipping SEEMS to make performance smoother at worst, and quicker at best. Seriously, I'd go for it. Remember what you said about keeping spec as standard as possible?? Does that apply to M3s as well? |

Try the link to www.performancebmwmag.co.uk and try the forums on there,might help. Could also try www.e36coupe.com as someone there might be able to work. Apparently schnitzer do a conversion with exhaust, cams,manifold and chip which takes the 3L to 320bhp |

does chipping an M3 make any considerable difference to performance? i previously owned a 300zx twin turbo, and you had to wind up the turbo boost as well as chipping it to get the increase in power. any suggestions wellcome cheers steve |
