I have a 525TDISSE, feb 94 fitted with an E 39 engine. I have lost all turbo power. The car was taken to my local BMW dealer who has told me the turbo air pressure sensor is open circuit on terminals 51 _ 57.Great I thought, fix it. But they cant because they do not know where the sensor is. It does not even show it on the schematics. Can anyone point me in the right direction ?.

I had similar problem with landrover i once had, Main dealer also useless found local engine tuner who specialised in turbo / nitro injection / watermist type stuff if it's any help, he fixed it real quick, reasonable cost at time, 3 years ago.

ps now have BMW also had trouble with main dealers "ripping" me off,

You could try a Vauxhall dealer. The Omega uses the same engine.

On this picture of the Vauxhall engine no 5 is the turbo pressure sensor. If you can find something  akin to that on your engine then that should be it:
