Topic: BMW Williams Posted: 25-May-2004 at 13:49 |
Fingers crossed that Mark Webber will be driving for BMW Williams in Melbourne 2005! Rumours are flying around locally he will. Any goss over there?
I wonder what are the chances of putting the 2004 F1 engine into the 840?

We have the same rumours here as well.
I would love to see Mark and Jenson in the same team with a competitive Williams.
Jenson may be a problems as Flav is not keen to let him go to a rival but stranger things have happened.
I will be glad to see the back of Ralph who never really performed in my view and as usual Frank lost another great driver (JPM) as he would not commit early to a contract.
Oh well role on Silverstone in July for my F1 fix.
Skip like the 8, any more pic's ?

I think Carl was referring to Flav "owning" opps I mean managing Mark.

I can't wait till summer again now for my F1 fix. It would good to visit Silverstone. I guess Mark will feel bad leaving Jag, but he'd mad to knock back driving for Williams.
Here are some pics:

Beach and car look fantastic.
Flav does "manage" Mark and I also thought he had a hand in Jenson. If I remember correctly Flav loaned Jenson to Williams for a year with Frank being given an option for a further year (which he did not take up).

Button has a different manager (steve Robertson ??), Performance related clause, so unlikely to be released from BAR contract
