Folks,

I have recently ordered some tickets for the Festival of Speed taking place at Goodwood on 13th July 2003.  Unfortunately the place where I had arranged my accommodation have messed up and have not booked me in to stay on the 12th July.

I wonder if it would be possible for any of you to suggest some places to stay since I am at a loss.  It will be too far for me to travel on the 13th July, as I will be travelling down from Nottingham.

Apologies for putting this on the forum but I am in desperate need of accommodation and do not want to have to miss the race.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Mark Leyland

I have a reasonable mobile home on a quiet park about 15 - 20 mins away from Goodwood which we let out for each Festival of Speed. If you are still stuck let me know. Its a 3 bedroom unit, oldish but comfortable, bar and shop nearby.

I went to Goodwood last year and stayed at the TravelLodge in Liphook.  It's only about 8-10 miles from Goodwood itself.  I've booked to stay there again this year.  The village has good pubs for evening meals and cafes for morning breakfast....just phone the national booking line.
