What are your top 10 'car chase' scenes from the Cinema?

1. Ronin (esp. through Tunnels)
2. Bullitt
3. The French Connection
4. Mad Max
5. Gone in 60 Seconds (original)
6. The Italian Job
7. Gone in 60 Seconds (remake)
8. Smokey & the Bandit / Cannonball Run films

erm, cant think of any more - maybe I should have said top 5!

Killian,

I could be very happy with the top two on your list....Ronin is just the business...

I told I sometimes (ok always) ruin it by saying "real M5" ..."not M5" etc etc

Good how to abuse a 735 chase in "The Transporter" too.

Maybe a good one for you to try in the 750i Spokey

what about the Blues Brothers??? Ok so it was more of a demolition derby than a chase, but it was mad!!

Don´t forget the M6 in Fourty eight hours although it´s not even close to Ronin. Also grand prix and le mans have to be considered as does days of thunder in the two hire cars.

Agreed! Another classic. Particularly the self-supporting trick suspension, emerging spoilers/air splitters....

I think the chase with the mini in the bourne identity is pretty cool as well ...however the one in Ronin still tops my list ..lost count of the amount of times I have put the DVD on just to watch it
