Where do you live?

Phone up Munich Legends (they specialise in them - spoke to them earlier today and they have 4 in, inc a cracking Ltd edition one still with warrenty!).

They are near Gatwick, one of the few indi garages I would trust.  (and I have no connection to them).

I've tried the Ltd Edition one they have and would have bought if I didn't alreayd have one!

Ask for Tony, 01825 740456. Tell him "Nigel the pest" gave them to you.

The Ltd Edition, is rosso red with cream leather - one of only 50 made. Really cracking, but the best thing is it is still under extended warrenty (60K miles on the clock).

From memory, I think they also have a 90K miler and a low miler with about 30 somehting on the clock.

Personally, I would always go for the one with the warrenty still in palce, given the cost of the shocks!

Unless the shocks fail due to a manufacturing error then they are not covered. I know because I have the extended warranty and have just paid in excess of £2k for front shocks and a few other bits on mine.

The extended warranty is only in force if you chose to pay £400-500 per year to renew it. Realistically only the engine and gearbox are covered (mine has had both replaced) - everything else is omitted under the wear and tear clause.
