To M3Cecotto and All the Long Distance drivers, WE are impressed!!!!, thats dedication for you, for a 1 day event.Thoughts of a weekend event , to give a little more time and more variety in things to see & get involved in , seem a possible for the future.BUT--- what can be a success for one day, does not transfer to a 2 Day-- does it ??????? Answers on a Forum Post up.Thanks to all the short distance drivers, NO discrimination on this forum, Right.

Rockingham was great, lets do it all again next year!!

p.s. just called my insurance today, and they said that my policy covers "non competetive events" ie, trackdays. That's made the wife feel better about me thrashing the car within an inch of its life

   Roll on Cadwell

anybody who's going to cadwell park, see you there

Somewhere that doesn't require royalties to be paid to the host would be better, shame about the catering van, it would have spread the load.

Did Gaydon have similar constraints, in that the museum takes a fee for the trade stands?

It cost £8600 to arrange Rockingham for the day...

Plus Rockingham charge £250 for each trader to attend, puts most traders off! We need to give thanks to the traders that did attend

As regards food, who had time to eat

See you all at Gaydon !

Agreed...A big thank you to the club office and I bet they will be looking for more staff when Ron organises another special day.

You should have said Kevin, you'd have been welcome for a coffee.

I have a lot of customers down south!!, Southampton and around that area, they regard London as up North !!

You were in the Midlands my man, the Midlands lol

Best Wishes

Nigel

Nigel,

We were in your neighbourhood today back to where we used to live in the Cotswolds.

My satnav (yes in my E30 M3) said I was north of Watford (a scary place to be).  I will be risking my life and limb again when heading to Croft in July for a wonderful day on track.

I must admit to be being very pleasently surprised by the national circuit at Rockingham it kept my interest.

North of Watford = North.

There is a sign as you leave Nottingham which says 'The South'...

There should have been a snack van in the paddock area, it broke down at the last minute with no chance to get a replacement. I will tell Rockingham that the food was not good and I believe a long wait too. We did try to get more trade but this was all done through Rockingham and expencive.

Good day had by all i think, it was very impressive to see all those E30's in one place.

Very much an enthusiasts car now the e30, luckily the council estate image is going.

Well done on the choice of venue, could have done with a food stand nearer to the cars as the raceway one was a bit of a hike and the food was no good, and some more parts swapping and trade stands would have been good to.

Well done to all involves though, not an easy thing to plan.
