John

Im on the late shift that day, so I wont be at work whilst you are all having a jaunt around.

And if anyone thinks Im getting out of bed early to wander around, they've got another thing coming!!!! lol lol

I hope all those that go, enjoy the day. It is worth having a look round, especially in the Assembly building. The robots in there are quite something else.

Im not sure if you will get to look round the paint shop, due to health and safety reasons, but if you do, look out for the Contrast Roof/Major Repair spray booths. Thats where I normally "hang out" during working hours.

Chances are tho, if the tour starts at 1.45pm, I will be turning up in the car park just as you are all about to leave.

Have fun folks, enjoy the day. It's worth the trip.

Regards

Mark.

Hmmmmmm,

Ratbark Specials.................Now there's a thing! Got me thinking now! lol

We hear rumours (and lots of them!) every now and then at work, and one them was about the "1" series. I choose not to believe any of them til I hear it from higher up. Trouble is, they play so many cards close to their chest, which is understandable I suppose.

I have however seen concept drawings in a presentation for other Mini variants, but Im not at liberty to divulge(*sp) these at present(dont want to get the sack!).

Now, off to the drwing board to see what "specials" I can come up with........
