Just received a letter from bmw all e46 will get this,the front passenger airbag has to be replaced as they may have a fault when activated, parts for this are in short supply so a second letter will be sent from bmw in January when parts are available and the work is free and The around an hour.

I posted this back in July when it was announced.

They arnt half taking their time sending out the recal letters but I have not got mine yet but know a few that have. Suppose it all depends on the supply of the parts!
