Many of you may know that I and a few Scottish members hold Amateur Radio licences and are members of Cockenzie & Port Seton Amateur Radio Club This year, we'll be on site over next weekend 25th 26th October. Should anyone wish to visit, they will be made more than welcome, given a cup of tea / coffee, a tour of the radio station and if they want, the chance to visit the top of the lighthouse. Visitors will be covered by the liability insurance of the radio club. Barns Ness Lighthouse is a spectacular location just to the East of Dunbar and is a fantastic backdrop to any pictures so bring your camera. Last year, the lighthouse looked a bit worse for wear, this year, it has been repainted and is looking pretty nice Last year, Issy, Shorty and Nero came to visit and they seemed to enjoy it. There are a few radio club members that frequent here aswell. Bob P, Robin, Paul and Me. We look forward to seeing any of you there Edited by Cambell - 19-October-2014 at 08:50 |
