SOLD - E36 318is Coupe

For sale is my sons 1999 E36 318is coupe.

The car has had 4 previous owners and I have owned the car since March 2011.

The car comes with

4 months MOT

Half leather recaro interior, which is in excellent order,

Traction control,

Electric windows

Electric heated mirrors

Air conditioning

Front loading face off single CD player with AUX function

Full service history having covered 132386 miles (this will increase as it is my daily driver)



Since his ownership he have had the car regularly serviced at a local BMW specialist, BM Motors Tel No 01698 375146. He has replaced the tyres with brand new 225x50x16 Pirelli P7’s all round in the last 3 months which run on the original 16” alloys.

The alloys themselves are all straight, but have a few scuffs and marks on them, however no corrosion.





He has fitted 328 sport springs all round as, when I bought it, the car was riding on 60mm lowered springs, which where far too low for his liking. He still has the 60mm springs which he will throw in as part of the sale.

Exterior

The exterior of the car is in good shape. There is a small rust spot starting on the right hand side of the boot lid near to the rear light cluster.




There is also some small pieces of rust on the leading edge of the bonnet



He has had the rear wheel arches attended to as this is a well known and common problem of the E36 coupe.










The rest of the bodywork is in good order.





















Interior

The interior is standard half leather Recaro which is in very good order. There is a front load single face off CD player with an AUX function. Both electric windows work, as do the electric heated wing mirrors. The car also has central locking which is also in good working order. It benefits from traction control and air conditioning, which was an optional extra at the time








Engine

The engine runs extremely smooth with no rattles or knocks and has been fully serviced throughout its life both by BMW and specialist, and was last serviced at the start of November 2012 at BM Motors Tel No 01698 375146

It still has the original wax on the cam cover and plenum









He has fitted CCFL angel eyes to the car which along with the 328 sport springs are the only things non standard on the car. The car only has one key and there is no alarm or remote.

He is selling as he now wants, and more importantly can afford the insurance on, an E46 330cd.
