Hi folks, I'm new to the forum and am probably posting this in the wrong place or something.

I'm looking for a set of the standard 18" wheels off and E92 M3. I want to swap the 19's on my car for a set of the 18's for use during the winter.

Anybody got a set for sale?

May be interested in a set of aftermarket wheels c/w winter tyres to fit a 2010 M3 if anyone has a set lying around.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.

I am not aware of anyone selling wheels on here. Are you on M3cutters? If not you might want to have a look as you might pick up a set on there.

You might find it a bit quiet in this section so pop over to the Scottish region to meet the guys!!! Thumbs Up

I'm not a member of M3cutters, I'll check them out.

check out the E90/92/93 M3 section in cutters as Issy said.

There was someone on there yesterday offering 18" M3 style wheels E9x fitment for somewhere in the region of 390GBP inc delivery.

Thanks for the heads up on that one stevie. I had a look on m3cutters and saw the post you referred to. Signed up and registered to the forum but for some reason I don't have sufficient priviledges to make a post!

C'est la vi, I'll give it another day and try again.

Cheers

Something wrong there me thinks, what username did you sign up on cutters with?

If you want I can drop the guy a PM to let him know you might be interested in the wheels

Thanks for the offer stevie but there's no need anymore. Go the account validated and managed to sort a deal out for the wheels complete with a new set of winter tyres, job done! Big smile

FYI, I've go the same username on the m3cutters site.

Well done Bomberman! I was looking for a couple of months for some M3 18's but couldn't find any decent ones. I should take a look at those one's you got, were they minted? Maybe I was being too fussy but I ended up with a different style of OEM Wheels.

Just read Stevie's post, were they genuine?

aye good stuff mate, I actually put an offer to a guy selling a set of wheels plus winter michelins at the weekend but it was not acceptable and he sold them anyway the next day. Maybe those where the one's you bought?

I've ordered a set of Vredestein Wintrac Extremes from Prestige tyres in Busby, on the outskirts of Glasgow
rears 265/30/19 and fronts 235/35/19

£868 fitted and balanced which I thought was a pretty decent price.

Stevie, I noticed you went for 265 on the rear. I wondered about this when buying Nicolas wheels but apparently 235 at the rear is what BMW recommend. I can already confirm the rear is much more free on a damp road and if I'm honest looks crap from behind. Will see how they fair over the winter and the snow and be interested how the 265's go also.

Got the same prob with m3cutters..still not able to post..have you resolved this issue? am using the same username there..also trying to look up on some winter tyres that will fit..haven't had much luck locally (or maybe because I'm not spending enough time to look for it)..anyway, hope to get those tyres come december..preferably something on the low end..

like bomberman it may take a while to get your email through so that you can get your account validated.
try this guy www.cmwheels.com
he's the wheel sponsor on cutters and was offering me the deal below
How about Zito 935 18x8.5 et20 all round?

The Zito 935 will not require any spacers as they are 8.5 et20.

here are a few options for you in 235/40/18

FORTUNA 235/40R18 95V WINTER

Price including tyres fitted / balanced and delivered £865

GOODYEAR 235/40R18 95V ULTRA GRIP PERFORMANCE 2 M&S

Price including tyres fitted / balanced and delivered £1090

YOKOHAMA 235/40R18 95V V902B W.DRIVE

Price including tyres fitted / balanced and delivered £1215 Delivered.

As I said I opted for just tyres as I'm going to use the original wheels as winter wheels and buy a set of comp wheels next year.

Hopefully I'll have the Vredesteins fitted this weekend when I'm home
