How much is she worth?

   I currently have a dead 540 which I'd love to see go to a good home to be restored but what is she worth. She's an E34 540 and one of only 62 ever made in RHD form with 6 speed manual box but owing to a colossal MOT failure I cannot afford the time or money to fix her. 	I'd imagine it would be worth selling it in parts? Manual gearboxes are on these aren't they?

	The gear bix might be worth something but to be honest i'd be amazed if an old 540i with a big list of jobs required for an MOT plus a misfire that you have been unable to track down is worth much at all. It might sound harsh but unless you want the to go to the trouble of breaking it yourself and selling the bits I'd say it's worth scrap value. Try a few specialist BMW breakers. Do Fritz's Bits do E34s?
