I have recently purchased a 5 series E60 '04 and the boot latch is broken, the rubber is split and the inner plastic striker is broken in half. I bought one on Ebay listed for this model, unfortunatly it's the wrong the one I bought is the same as shown in the Haynes Manual, but the one in my car is different any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Rule #1, never go with what's in a Haynes manual, they are notoriously wrong. I can't help with your problem but.... Have a look on here for part number which can then be used to source parts from online. Put the last 7 digits of your chassis number into the box next to serial number then search from the menus. Also try here for info on how to work on your car, much better than any Haynes. What kinda E60 do you have? Andrew
