Boybimmerm3 -- last year was my first year.  I was uncertain about whether it was a good idea.  having been, I  can say that it was a truly good time: a great circuit, fun people, and a chance to learn from some of the best driving instructors in the business. give it a try, and you'll come back every year after...

John (B7 VP) has all the details; I think he's been about 15 times...

I think last year there were about 140 cars and maybe 40-50 bikes. there were 10-12 groups of cars and 3-4 groups of bikes; each group has its own instructor and also a coach.  last year John was the coach for my group.

the single most common car would be the e30 m3 or the e36 m3, but pretty much every car you can think was there from 2002's to X5's to Z1's. there were also 911's, Audi's, Elise's, and a lot of other stuff.

if you don't know much about the Nurburgring, look at http://www.nurburgring.org.uk which tells you everything you need to know.

the 9-11 August 2004 programme will be explained on its own site http://www.fahrerlehrgang.info which as of now still shows the info from last year's programme.  but it gives you the idea

I'm game if the price is right
