Oh dear, did I give the impression the pub lunch was thrown in.. I'm afraid you will need to budget in an extra £3.99 if you want the hot beef baguette and chips..
.. seriously though, the pub lunch is one of the things that makes Croft unique.. it's a great way to break up the day and it is so much better than any on site catering.

Beep!

Might try to drum up some interest from some of the Scottish region boys - I'll ask James & Dunc at next club meet (25/1).

Will there be a ducks'n'drakes session for first time Crofties?

Not so much Ducks and Drakes more Follow my Leader.

Croft is wide and open you can see the lead car even if you are down the line.

We usually do this for the first 10/15 minutes, nice and slowly to get all the new ones familiar with the circuit and we do not speed it up unless we feel everyone knows which way the corners go.

Then we do it all over again after lunch.. just a tad faster this time to see what you have learned.

I have radio contact with the marshals at all times even when out on the circuit.. they let me know as it happens if they feel anyone is out of their depth.. and we can do something about it, like a little more tuition.

If you would like some forms, click on the link and I will send you someclick here

That's right Grant.. we never get anything like that in the mag, nobody ever volunteers.
I did one once back in the early days.. but I get a little too busy to do the journalism as well, so it never gets done.
We could do with an article written by one of you lot..

..have you got a camera you could take along?

oh and the trackside photographer.. Pete Wilyman I think at Cadwell and Digitronic at Bedford.. both laughed when I mentioned Croft was in North Yorkshire.

.. I don't mind if you want to organise one to come along, I'm sure Claire will know who to call.

I was at a Tracksense track day once at Croft. They had a professional photographer there who was very good. You could look at the pics on the day etc before you bought them. Maybe you could contact him?

i'll be there again this year nick. croft was my first taste of track day action, and i cant wait to see how the mods on my car perform this time around. Nick, can't commit just yet though as my motor needs a fresh coat of paint due to some scum bag ransacking my garage. I will be in touch though..... promise.
