Your not kidding ...........

I regularly log on to the S2000 board and there's loads going on - are BMW owners too far up their own anal passages to be bothered, appart from us that is, or are our lives just more sad.

I posted a a car wanted note and not a single reply ......... did the same thing on S2000 and got several within minuites .......... most just were giving me check lists for things to look for - very helpful buch.

Well, I suppose I shouldn't advertise, but you asked for the details Steve, so here they are:

Pioneer Tuning Specialists, 6 Madeley Street, HULL HU3 2AH Tel 01482 227848.  I've never been there, so I can't say personally whether they are any good, or good value, but they are apparantly a couple of ex-BMW-dealership guys who know their beamer stuff and I've heard they're ok.

If it is simple mechanics of fitting a part, I understand that Monsieur Auriol of Auriol Motors, Uni1, Spacemade Park (where???), Stoneferry Road, Hull HU8 8DA Tel 01482 588595 should be able to do this business.  His first passion is French cars, but he knows his German cars too, so I'm told by a fella in the BMW Driver's Car Club with a 535, who takes his car there for general work and would recommend him as doing good work at a good price.

Take your pick! (And let me know if you would recommend them to me!)

best thing is to stick around, otherwise the numbers will never increase.

i go to the 300zx.co.uk and that forum is excellent, but i now own an M3 so would like to meet other bmw owners really, but i still go on the 300zx site as i have meet a lot of good friends.

cheers for the info, it turns out that pioneer are not the ex paragon guys,. the ex paragon lot are called autologic, i am waiting to hear from them.

will tell you what i think, as i hope to get this diff done this week :)

cheers

steve
