Sounds exciting, this one better be a prancing horse.  And if it is, you are too good to be posting amongst us peasants on the 'BMW' forum... have fun, but, don't get caught!!

or some sort of exclusive car rental club like the one that featured on fith gear.  would work out cheaper and you can drive a different supercar each time.

Congrats on the new car. You're gonna love that motor torque applenty! Detailing on them is increadible - the Alpina logo embossed in the exposed carbon fibre on the underside of the bonnet and the sculpted fog light covers to direct the airflow into the brake ducts. Pure wet dream stuff.

Dealership wanted me to change the B5s to B6s recently but in the end I decided to stick with the B5s. However was very, very tempted. The only thing that I'd change on the B5s would be the steering i.e. a bit quicker. How does the B6s steering compare to the M5?

Enjoy

Thanks for the kind words to my new and very nice car!!

Its night and day with the M5, its hard to put in to
words as i have not done any miles in her yet, its just
night and day, my mrs did not like the m5, but the alpina
she loves! its so smooth and the power is amazing, not as
fast as my porsche turbo (550 bhp)same power output but
the bmws a much nicer place to be,
the only time i have given any go was with tiko riding
shotgun coming back toward paisley from greenock and she
was doing 166 mph when i gave it some gas, soild as a
rock in to the bend (unlike tiko) and that was without
the sport button pressed and very relaxed....
I am now out in iran but mel and i are going for a good
week away in the car when we get back and will write a
full report then with loads of snaps!!

cheers robin.
