Never took a car on the rollers and would like to know if using the one down the road at a tunners is not going to cause any problems to my car?

This depends on the dyno as opposed to them being BMW specific or not. On our Dastek I can run a 3ltr E36 M3 with just the front wheels chocked, whereas the Dyno Dynamics you would have to put the pull down contraption on the rear lower arms which if done up too tightly can give lower readings. Also, with rollers wider apart than thers will give less power at the wheels, but it the dyno carries out a coastdown, then this will be measured and cancelled out.

FWIW, I do the runs in 4th gear. Hope this helps.

Nick, I am not looking to stay on much longer than 2.30/3.00.

Never, ever have said that. But I know other tuning centres that have.
