LMFAO this has to be the joke of the week (if you are from abroad as we are)

Wondered about this myself when I've read Curley's replay.

Fair Question, the monthly meet is generally the Dublin Kildare region. However on a bigger event terenure or the Paddys day run (located in the midlands for acess) we get bodies from Limerick Tipp Kerry Galway etc.

makes sense, would carpooling be an idea to increase numbers or am i missing the point of a meet? might help build the club/forum in the smaller areas and then the overall...

Honestly it was never about numbers, if people want to come they come. The monthly meet was set up years ago as a meet-up point for owners of classic BMWs and it evolved form there. So it's very rare to have the same guys all the time. Main objective is to have a chat and a bit of crack, sometimes we plan for a shows, do an ad-hoc run on a nice dry evening, tyre-kick, car problems and so on....

BTW : Rumours that we brainwash new unsuspected people at these meets out of shiny e46 and into classic sharknosed bmws is a myth, but if it does happen it's totally coincidental !!!!

Sure look at Chris,  he's still driving a 540i and no pressure whatsoever into buying something like say 3.0si (you know you want to Chris!!!)
